Better Late Then Never

I was at a party mingling trying to get to know the crowd as this girl that's been wanting to go out with me since 2009 ,well she steps on my foot really hardly with her heel and I was thinking to myself that's nice, thanks for stepping on me but no comment from her... The next day I get a Facebook message apologizing for the incident saying "i don't think you know me but there is a saying better late than never so i'm sorry for stepping on you."I never thought hitting on someone was meant so literally :p

A story from a guys point of view :

Soo I go to Barnard and pick up this great girl at first I was a little nerv (never been on a blind date before) but she was really chill off the bat so we got into a good convo, which is always good. I chose to take her to a a comedy club a few freinds gave me rave reviews about. So, me being me, I didnt look too far into it and just decided to pick a show, didnt really think too much about it. So I pick her up and we go to this place on the 26th btwn 7th and 8th, and we sit down, it comes off as a little provocative but nothing too crazy, so we sat down, without being carded or anything, assuming its just a normal comedy skit that is supposedly funny....  Anways the show starts and the title is "Something Something Something naken ppl".. and i'm like ok/ I started getting slightly uncomfortable, but nothing too drastic...The show starts with a naked lady (with her privates covered) walking around New York city asking people about the feeling of being nude, its a short video for maybe 5-10 min.. afterwards another lady (or the same one, I couldnt really tell, I wasnt really paying close attention)walks out onto the stage and is dressed pretty provocatively, but i'm chiller so I don't really care, hoping i'm not making a bad first impression. This lady who walked out starts off playing around with a scarf in a very awk way, yet i'm still OK, a little more agitated/ making jokes with the girl about how I'm hoping this will all turn out ok.. and then this lady, the one on stage, starts taking off her dress.. and i'm like okkk... and then her pants... and then she keeps playing around with the scarf in only her underware and her bra, and then she's walking around making half funny jokes( which I wassnt really in the mood to listen too).. and THEN she takes off her BRA and then I'm like yaaa not happening.. so I leaned over and told my date that i'm slightly uncomfortable and that we should leave.. which we ended up doing..  I played it well, which was good.. we laughed it off and went to the Upper west and just got tea and walked around, had some great convo, but this will forever be one of the craziest first dates you'll ever hear about...
